Below, my humble explanation of a few comic stories created so far.

The sticker
A story about love on the streets of Jeremyville. It's a journey that takes place in one moment, in the mind of a sticker. The last 3 panels continue from the first 3 panels. Even if your life is stuck to a wall, in your mind you can travel far, and sometimes if you are lucky you will find your soul mate, your fellow traveler through life.

The Prison
A story about escaping through imagination and lateral thinking. I try to do this every time I draw. A pencil to me is freedom. I also created this for Amnesty International, and their work to help free prisoners of conscience.

The Beach
Sometimes keeping your eyes closed, and going with the flow, can bring you what you want. Take it easy and you'll eventually get there. And remember to have an ice cream along the way.

The Breakfast
Drawn from a day dream I had in the bath one day. A story about the eternal cycle of life, how everything is relative, and that time can be an abstract notion. It is also about a mother and a son. It's about birth, and rebirth. The warm bathtub is a womb.

The Reunion
A story about loss and grief, and having faith that one day you will encounter some rainbow stairs, and you will be reunited forever, in the clouds, and you will both drift away.

The Flower
A story about change, renewal, and the passage of time. It is also about karma, and how killing any living thing, even a flower, has consequences.

The Nightmare
A story commissioned by Kidrobot in New York. It is also a folded poster inside an 8 inch Dunny toy I designed for Kidrobot, coming out in late 08. It is a story about making sure you eat all your vegetables! The first few frames and last few frames are only a moment apart. And there is an eternity in between.

The End
The end is sometimes just the beginning of a long journey, on a road to who knows where. The longest journey starts with just one footstep. Just follow your own birds.

The New York Steam
A story about acceptance. There was a homeless person who always asked me for money very angrily, every day, and it started to irritate me, until one day I just accepted him, I hugged him in my mind, and then he disappeared.

The Seasons
A project with US artist Geoff McFetridge. He drew me, and I drew him, I put him in a comic story. It is about transformation, and the passage of time in nature. About energy not dying, just changing into something else. And love that never dies. I also drew this for my mother, and for mother nature.

The Shadow
To me, It is about embracing the other side in you, and understanding your complexity. We are made up of good and bad, sad and happy. A story about understanding all aspects of yourself, and accepting yourself. You are never alone, you always have yourself to keep you company.
